A friend is someone you know. A wolf is a savage predator. I've had a series of friends. They come and go at regular intervals. Never give me sugar to cover my whole body. Just sprinkle it around me like an angel. Sprinkle it here and there.

Friends can be of great importance. Sometimes they can feel indispensable, sometimes not so much. But usually they are probably needed and also great to be with, so to speak. That's not me, however.

The friendly embrace is nice. I might need that right now.
